To transfer servicing rights between parties who share the same principal:
Scottish Widows will send confirmation emails when we’ve transferred the servicing rights.
When there’s a partial transfer of servicing rights between parties who share the same principal, please:
1. Create a spreadsheet listing the policies to be transferred.
For each transferring policy, include the following in the spreadsheet:
2. Download Origo's Novations Signature Form (PDF, 207 KB).
3. Complete Sections A-D. (Select Scenario H on page 3, indicating that Scottish Widows should only transfer a subset of the agency's business).
4. Provide details of the ceding and receiving parties in ‘Supporting Information’, Section E, including the receiving agency number (if policies are transferring to a single agency).
5. Read and sign the declaration on page 4.
6. Email the completed form to commission.mailbox@scottishwidows.co.uk, along with the spreadsheet listing the policies for transfer. If you prefer, you can submit the documents through Origo's platform.
